And I think the title is funny... So, it's not a story about a beautiful girl somewhere on the oceans, but about that little red apple in the corner. That's just great XD

The clouds - they tend to get smaller closer to the horizon. Yours are the same (size-wise) throughout the sky. Same thing with the waves. It kind of gives you the sense that the horizon is very close to us, which isn't the case in real life. If you were to resize the waves and the clouds that are near the horizon, it would bring depth to this environment, and I think that depth is a good thing in paintings.
Those problems may not be critical, but I think they deserve at least a little bit of attention. Otherwise, you have a very good sense of what you are doing, and your products show that. I love the colour combination here, as red/gray is always a good palette. The little details, namely the birds and the lighthouse, add to the overall feel, as well. Nice work!
